BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
(These Terms relate to WEDDING Bookings)
Thank you for choosing to book with Aynho Cottages. We very much look forward to meeting you and welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking shown below.
The following terms apply:
“Owners” or “We” shall mean Jerry & Anna Stephenson
“You” or “Your” shall mean the individual who made the booking
1. YOUR BOOKING
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract which is subject to these Booking Conditions. The party leader will assume responsibility for the whole party and the compliance with these rules of all party members. You are our point of contact for the cottage booking and it is with you that we will share cottage information, keycodes etc (and it is up to you to share with your party). You may not add to the party size stated on your booking form without prior consent from the owners. The accommodation is booked strictly on the basis that it is used for wedding accommodation only and there is no right to remain on the property after the expiration of the rental period. All Cottages are let as holiday or short stay accommodation and do not create a Landlord and Tenant relationship within the meaning of the Rent Acts.
2. PRICES
The prices quoted are all inclusive of VAT and include continental breakfast (for example croissants, bread, milk, orange juice, cereals) placed in the cottages on your wedding night.
3. PAYING FOR YOUR ACCOMMODATION
The full booking cost will be taken 9 months before your wedding.
4. CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY YOU
If you need to cancel your booking you must contact the owners as soon as possible in writing.
Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 4 weeks prior to arrival are without charge.
Bookings cancelled within the 4 weeks before arrival will be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee of 50% of the booking cost.
It is recommended that you take out cancellation insurance within your own travel insurance policy to protect you against cancellation due to ill-health, bereavement etc as the above refund terms are non-negotiable.
5. CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY US
In the unlikely event of cancellation of the reservation due to unavailability of the accommodation (extreme events such as fire, storm or flood damage), the owner will provide a full refund and endeavour to suggest alternative accommodation.
6. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
You are responsible to the Owner for the actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to the accommodation, along with any additional costs that may result, which are caused by you or your party. We reserve the right to charge the cost of any additional cleaning or repairs that may be required. For instance, our cleaners charge us £150 to clear up vomit on carpets and our linen service may reject stained bedlinen (often fake tan) or charge us extra. Any damage must be reported immediately to the owners and you should never use any chemical, including stain devils, on carpets. Damaged or irreparably stained carpets are always replaced. No repairs of any kind to the property or contents must be attempted by you or your party. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
7. ACCIDENTS, INJURY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
The Owners shall have no liability to you for the death or personal injury to you or any member of your party. You are expected to take all reasonable care of the cottages, including ensuring that they are fully secured when leaving them. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of belongings.
8. ARRIVAL
Your accommodation will be all ready for your arrival anytime after 4pm on the day of your wedding. There is a safekey lockbox with your key in it. You will be emailed detailed arrival instructions and lockbox code the day before your arrival.
9. DEPARTURE
Please vacate your cottage by 10.00am on the day of departure, locking the cottage doors and leaving the key in the safebox provided. Please keep the accommodation clean and tidy and leave it as you found it.
10. DURING YOUR STAY
·You cannot allow more people than you have booked to stay in the accommodation.
·We do not allow Hair & Makeup suppliers to operate in any of the carpeted areas of the cottages and if you are getting ready in the cottage prior to The Dressing Room in The Great Barn being open, then you ask that you move to The Dressing Room once it is open (it is built for purpose with regard to Hair & Makeup).
·You may not carry out any form of trade or business from the property, nor may you sub-let any part of the buildings.
·The properties are entirely non-smoking and candles are not permitted to be lit inside.
·The use of the Cottages includes all utilities, bed linen and towels, soap and bathroom toiletries, use of TV and wi-fi broadband.
·Cots/highchairs: we have cots & highchairs available but we ask that you bring your own cot bedding.
·The cottages are located on a working farm where the owners also live. We therefore have a zero-tolerance policy on late-night noise after the wedding has finished.

11. PROBLEMS & COMPLAINTS
Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any queries or complaints and we will do our best to address them immediately.
